Elder Daughters of the Family!!!

I am a chubby, curvy girl from a family which is perfect and messed up in its own way. I have a disease called I AM NOT ENOUGH disease.

I am the first-born daughter, who was mature enough to understand that I have family issues when I was just in 2nd standard. Being an elder daughter is not easy. You have to be a mom to your mom, mom to your younger sibling and mother to self too. We will do everything for everyone just for the sake of appreciation and just once when we want to take a day's leave from work for ourselves, We're spiraling down the guilt trip of selfishness. The Elder Daughters are different from Elder Sons! Elder Daughters are always looking for appreciation from work, family, friends, even strangers.

They will say sorry, thank you, for the tiniest thing in the world and expect the world to be same too. Elder Daughters are tough lovers - that's what all the reels, tiktoks are claiming but to be honest, Elder Daughters are the one who seeks simple love, they're not tough they just act tough. They want big gestures from their lovers but do not want to ask for it, they want all the attention from all their friend's family and especially lovers but won't ask for it. They are Complicated yet very very simple.

I hope ours will be the last generation of elder daughters who feels like screaming into their pillows every freaking night but end up cuddling with their loved ones that too not for much long same might portray us as needy. Cmon we cannot show it that we are needy even if we want it for every second of our life. The next generation of Elder Daughters will be different because we are not going to let the history repeat itself.
